Advertising Policy
Al-Turath Al-Adabi is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and editorial independence in all aspects of its publishing activities.
In accordance with internationally recognised scholarly publishing standards, including the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding transparency and editorial independence, the journal ensures that advertising and commercial considerations have no influence whatsoever on editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, manuscript acceptance, or publication processes.
The journal may accept advertisements related to academic, educational, research, publishing, and scholarly activities that are consistent with its aims and scope. All advertisements, if accepted, will be clearly distinguished from editorial and scholarly content to avoid any potential conflict of interest or misunderstanding among readers.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any advertisement that is misleading, deceptive, inappropriate, unethical, or inconsistent with the journal’s mission, academic values, and publishing standards.
Any advertising arrangements shall be managed with complete transparency and under the institutional oversight of the Department of Arabic, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, Pakistan. Such arrangements shall not affect the journal’s editorial policies, peer-review procedures, publication decisions, or academic standards.
Editorial Independence
All business operations, including advertising, sponsorship, and revenue generation activities, are conducted independently of the editorial decision-making process.
The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board retain full authority and responsibility for evaluating, accepting, rejecting, and publishing manuscripts solely on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, relevance, and the results of the double-blind peer-review process. No commercial, financial, institutional, or personal interests are permitted to influence editorial judgements.
Revenue Sources
The financial resources of Al-Turath Al-Adabi are derived from the following sources:
- Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by authors upon acceptance of their manuscripts for publication.
- Institutional support provided by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, Pakistan.
- Approved academic sponsorships, grants, or contributions that are consistent with the journal’s ethical standards and editorial independence.
- Revenue generated through academic and educational advertisements, where applicable.
All revenues are used exclusively to support the journal’s publishing operations, including manuscript processing, peer review management, DOI registration, website maintenance, digital preservation, indexing-related activities, and the continuous improvement of journal services.
The journal remains committed to providing a scholarly publishing environment that is free from undue commercial influence and guided solely by academic excellence, research integrity, and ethical publishing practices.
