Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text is single-spaced; uses a 16-point font; Traditional Arabic, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• Author Declaration / Undertaking
  I/We, the undersigned author(s), hereby declare that:
  1. Originality and Prior Publication
  • The above manuscript is my/our original work.
  • It has not been published before, nor is it under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form (print, digital, or other).
  • The manuscript contains no plagiarized content, and all quoted or referenced material has been properly cited in accordance with HEC standards and academic ethics.
  2. Authorship and Contribution
  • I/We confirm that all listed author(s) have made a substantial scholarly contribution to the work (e.g., conception, design, execution, analysis, or writing).
  • Each author has:
  o Reviewed the final version of the manuscript.
  o Approved its content in full; and
  o Given explicit consent for submission to Al Turāth al Adabī for possible publication.
  • No eligible contributor has been excluded from authorship.
  • Any individuals who contributed to the work but do not qualify for authorship have not been listed as co-authors. Responsibility for appropriate acknowledgment rests solely with the author(s).
  3. Reproduction of Figures or Tables
  "If any figure or table has been reused from previously published work, proper written permission has been obtained and attached with the submission."
  4. Legal and Ethical Responsibility
  • I/We take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the content presented in the manuscript.
  • I/We understand that the journal, editors, and institution bear no legal responsibility for any part of the content.
  • I/We understand that any violation of the above declarations may result in rejection or retraction of the article at any stage.
  5. Authorship Finalization
  • I/We agree that no changes to authorship (addition, deletion, or rearrangement) will be allowed after submission, except in rare cases with the editor’s approval and written consent of all authors.

  I/We hereby declare that the submitted manuscript complies with all applicable ethical standards.
  Where the study involved human participants, written informed consent was obtained and is available upon request or has been submitted with the manuscript.
  Where the study did not involve human participants, participant consent is not applicable

  I/We do not have any conflict of interest (financial or other) other than those declared.
