Aims
Al-Turāth al-Adabī is a high-quality, double-blind peer-reviewed research journal published biannually by the Department of Arabic, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. The journal aims to provide scholars, researchers, and students with a reputable academic platform for presenting original, rigorous, and intellectually engaging research in the field of Arabic studies.
Its core objective is to advance scholarship in Arabic language, literature, and related disciplines by promoting analytical depth, methodological clarity, and contemporary relevance. Al-Turāth al-Adabī is committed to fostering academic dialogue on classical and modern Arabic texts, linguistic inquiry, philosophical thought, cultural and civilizational studies, and research addressing issues of contemporary significance.
Scope
Al-Turāth al-Adabī welcomes original research articles, review papers, and scholarly commentaries in all domains of Arabic studies. The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to:

The journal does not accept papers in Islamic Studies as an independent discipline; however, research addressing religious themes is welcome only when it is directly connected to Arabic language, literature, linguistics, culture, or classical Arabic texts.
All manuscripts must be written exclusively in Arabic, as the journal does not accept submissions in any other language.
Al-Turāth al-Adabī encourages contributions marked by scholarly originality, critical depth, and methodological rigor within the broader field of Arabic language and literature.
