This paper comprehends the fiction in Travel literature. This study explores the intersection of this foundational genre with the concept of fiction and imagination. This research adopts a theoretical and analytical approach. It examines the philosophical underpinnings of fiction and traces its permeation into various literary arts, with a specific focus on travel literature. The study analyzes how imaginative constructions function within the genre's structure, moving beyond a purely historical account to investigate its expressive and narrative techniques. The analysis reveals that fiction is not an alien element in travel literature but a fundamental component that enriches it. The infusion of imaginative interpretation, subjective perspective, and creative narrative allows for a deeper exploration of both the external world and the traveler's internal landscape. The study suggests a re-evaluation of the rigid boundaries between fact and fiction in travel writing. It proposes that future research could benefit from applying this theoretical framework to case studies of specific Arab travel writers to better understand the various "fiction trends" and their rhetorical impact within the Arabic literary tradition.
