The study of auto-biography in the history of Arabic and western literature is a study of its own initiative purposes, types, styles and its impacts that’s indicate the boldness and authenticity of its author on his/her recognition in social and moral traditions. As we know that biographies in both Arabic and western literatures are becoming increasingly interesting branch of modern comparative literature and literary criticism that is why the both levels of literature: comparative study of auto-biography and critical analysis of auto-biography accurate and developed the writing lacks of self-translation, autobiography and resume or curriculum vita.
This research article aims to explore the historical background and features of the art of writing autobiography in Arabic western comparative literature. As The research examines the art of writing autobiography in both literatures, history and traces its origins to the ancient Arab customs and traditions. There are several examples of autobiographies in classical Arabic literature that shed light on the art of writing autobiography in Arabic literature.
The paper also follows the comparative methodology in the data analyses and focuses on the historical developments of resume writing in the ancient and modern literature’s, siyar’s, self-translation’s, biographies’ and auto-biographies’ books etc.
