Abstract

This research focuses on the continuation of this tradition in the contemporary era, with a specific case study on the Saudi traveler Sheikh Nasir Muhammad bin Al-Aboudi and his journey to Kashmir. The research methodology is a descriptive-analytical approach. The research concludes with key findings and proposals. The analysis confirms that Sheikh Al-Aboudi's travelogue upholds the classical tradition of Arabic travel writing. His work demonstrates a high literary style, characterized by descriptive precision and a scholarly approach to documenting his observations. The journey significantly broadened his horizons, a outcome reflected in the depth and breadth of his narrative, which stands as a valuable literary and historical source on the region of Kashmir. The conclusion presents important recommendations, emphasizing the need for further study and preservation of contemporary Arab travel accounts. It is proposed that such works are crucial for understanding cross-cultural interactions and the evolution of Arabic literary prose in the modern period.
