This study presents a morphological analysis of the Qur’anic narrative of Prophet Sulaymān (peace be upon him) and the hoopoe, examined through a psycholinguistic framework to explore the relationship between morphological structure and psychological meaning in Qur’anic discourse. Focusing on augmented triliteral verb forms, the research adopts a descriptive–analytical methodology grounded in Arabic morphology and psycholinguistic theory. It classifies and analyzes the morphological patterns occurring in the narrative, tracing their frequency, contextual variation, and emotive resonance. The findings reveal that Qur’anic morphology functions not merely as a grammatical system but as an expressive and affective mechanism that evokes emotions such as amazement, mercy, affirmation, and divine warning. Moreover, these morphological patterns intensify the emotive force of divine speech and embody core theological concepts, including monotheism and divine justice. The study highlights the psychological depth of Qur’anic language, demonstrating that morphology plays a vital role in shaping the spiritual and emotional impact of the text. This interdisciplinary approach confirms the inseparable link between linguistic form and inner meaning in the Qur’an and recommends further integration of morphological and psycholinguistic analysis to uncover additional aesthetic and psychological dimensions of the sacred text.
