The Andalusian Muwashshahat is one of the most prominent poetic arts that combined poetry and music, where linguistic beauty was mixed with vocal rhythm, which earned it a special splendor and a great influence in Arabic literature. Among the poets who stood out in this art was Ibn al-Sabbagh Al-leprosy, who was creative in crafting his mush in a distinctive artistic style, relying on the harmony of voices and the diversity of rhythms. In this article, we will discuss "the aesthetics of vocal rhythm in the Muwashshahat of Ibn al-Sabbagh Al-Gothami", highlighting how he employs poetic weights, intonation of words, and repetition of sounds in such a way as to make the Muwashshahat an integrated auditory palette. We will also be exposed to the aesthetic elements that the poet relied on to create an integrated musical experience in his texts, and how he blended sound rhythm with poetic images to forge texts that go beyond the written word to a touching sensory experience in the recipient.
